 It is a very powerful tool with distinct capabilities. Provides various ways to view logs and statistics information with a user-friendly interface. I hope there is a Mac version of this tool.

 Working Ok on win7 machine but showing 3 network adaptors so have doubts about totals.Loaded onto a Vista machine no activity is shown.
Bitmeter 2 is a nice little tool for monitoring bandwidth usage. Since I use dialup service and am limited to 4 hours for each session, the stopwatch tool is a nice feature to let me monitor my time online. One problem that I have is the terminology for the upload and download. They should be reversed. My DL shows almost 0 and UL shows many MB. Same with the DL and UL speeds. The green bars are fine but I am actually downloading info not uploading. Otherwise a nice program.
 Hello,Yes, it\'s fine to a certain extent but I would like it to show my current total whenever I look at it. Also the dates are all higgledy- piggledy - not by orderly time e.g. month or even year. Also I would like to know what type of product (e.g. event fliers) produce a heavy (or light) download. I want to update my Sibelius software and dare not download it in case it is very big! If restrictions are between 9 am and 11 pm does that mean I can download it OK at night ?? Puzzled !!! Susan

DU Meter does the work for me I use this utility program with another program calls Modem Booster.DU Meter provides an information window that enable me to know the speed of my internet upload and download. It becomes handy in that I know exactly what my speed on the internet is. The graph enables me to glance at the snapshot of the speed of my internet connectivity. I find this program most helpful in enabling meto find out instantly what the speed of my internet connection is.

results did not seem to pick up all of the traffic over my wireless network so I have uninstalled it.... I know this because my the router shows usage in the last 24 hours and seemed more accurate in terms of my usage than what your software was showing ....

 great tool Really what I was looking for. I needed to monitor usage of Internet on a sat highspeed link that has daily volume limit. It helped find out what application used much. Just missing a per hour graph.

Great program Great for controlling your bandwidth usage. Includes alarms and a calculator for knowing how many time will it take a file to download.
Pleased even if it wasn`t what I needed I was actually looking for a way to analyse ADSL traffic at a packet level. This tool doesn't do that but it is none the less excellent at what it does do. It is easy to download, set up and use and presents an easy to read, real time graphical representation of traffic flow and volume. Very pleased with it, well done!
Not what was required I was after a solution for multiple IP address traffic logging from a DHCP service. This product does not fit my criteria.Thanks
Net Meter-worked well It wasn't particularly what I was looking for: I was looking for a program that would automate testing network transfer speeds by sending a file/ping every so often. That might be a good addition in the future ;) I think the reports might show me what I want to see over time anyway - obvious drops in transfer rates, not just drops in usage.Regardless, Net Meter is a very well made program and certainly did what it said it would do. I installed on Windows 7 RC: very easy to setup, and it works just as promised. I run a home server, and Bandwidth Meter helps me monitor visitor traffic. Will be buying full version as soon as I rebuild PC with final Win 7 release.

Taskbar Icon Insufficient The taskbar Icon should be animated in the way Online Eye pro is.., so you could see the activity from the taskbar (The scale is visible in real time).Right now the bandwidth meter pro taskbar icon shows the network activity only. I found this very inconvenient to have to access the program each time to have any idea of my bw activity.Add this future and I would recommend the tool to anyone I know + I would purchase it with no doubt.
